I am trying to use Latex code when editing note card, but noticed it was not rendered. I was wondering if Latex is supported or not? And if so, how could one use it within MN3

compared to the potential of LaTex, the markdown language is too limited.

If MarginNote had an open source version, it could be a tool that can be optimized with LaTex.

I have also tried the markdawn extension and find it very heavy and very limited

Hi.

I can see your point and I personally believe the LaTeX & Markdown function now is very limited and there are a lot of spaces for improvements.

However please do understand that we are always trying to present our users the most effective learning tool they could use, but we are of limited resource to realise all the functions we want in a short period of time - so have a faith in Marginnote and be patient to see what will happen in the future!
