Hi, I am new to margin note 4. First of all thanks a lot for this wonderful app.
Secondly, I have a question, suppose I add a document (.pdf file) in multiple study set would that make a duplicate copy of the .pdf file (wasting space) or will it link to the same copy in the Document.

will link to the same file. In fact, you can’t import a PDF multiple times. If you need different notes, simply create a new document notebook.

Ok, thanks.
In a given document (.pdf file) I can only see an option called “Attached notebook” which adds a notebook but cant see how to add multiple of those. Also, I see an option “Document Notebook” but the + sign there is greyed out and I can click on it.
So how exactly I am supposed to create a new document notebook, or do you mean that I create new notebook inside a study set?

You cannot create a new document notebook without any notes.
