Say you have a sentence split in two: text_1, text_2.
You highlight text_1 and Ai OCR (the toggle in the highlighter tool), where you have set that the excerpt box to be Markdown (instead of Rich Text).
However, if you then select Continuous Excerpt and highlight text_2, it will be added under that first excerpt and it will be Ai OCR’d (all as expected)… BUT… its entry will not be set as Markdown.
So for all continuous excerpts done with Ai OCR, you need to manually set them as Markdown.
NB: Same for the rectangle highlight tool… so text_1, equation_1 will make text_1 in Markdown and equation_1 Ai OCR’d as Markdown, but its excerpt box section will not be toggled as Markdown, but instead left as the default Rich Text.
