Automatically rename pdfs with author/title/year

Hello all. I wonder if it would be possible to automatically rename downloaded pdfs with the autor, year and title of the article (at least with scientific articles). Mendeley does this pretty well, I think it does it by looking for the DOI of the document and searching for info about it.

This would help me a lot to organize my files because now I have hundreds of pdfs with random names and is quite slow to find anything.

I canā€™t abide the poorly named pdf. I use zotero and zotfile to correct my file names before bringing them into MN. I donā€™t always have that luxury so I make sure I update the file name in MN once I get the zot name calculated.

Of course everyone will want the name different so MN would have to use wildcards and symbols.
