Hello,

So, i have always had trouble with the backup system of marginnote.

I need clarity on one issue in particular.

When i backup manually, the file that comes out is about 14 gb whereas the auto backup to i cloud shows my margin note backup is bigger than 25 gb in icloud,

Why such a huge difference? If i manually backup, will it restore everything from source pdf to notes with annoation, mindmaps, card reviews?

I do not want to lose any of my data so please give a definitive answer as to which mode protects all my data

Hello.
The difference in file sizes is due to the issue of the compression method. The “Backup of Note Database and All Documents” is complete, but it does not include the iCloud files. I hope this information is helpful to you!
