Best way to upgrade to MN4?

I purchased MN3 a long time ago, when I installed MN4 on my iPad I found that I could upgrade to Pro Plan with no additional costs. very cool! but there is a new plan called MAX. I recently saw on this forum people complaining about upgrading issues. What is the best way to upgrade to MAX forever plan with no issues at this moment?

Also is there an educational discount for this upgrade?

One last thing: where is the website of Marginnote 4? Where can I find the full list of the new features?

I agree. Just purchase through the App Store. If you try to do the educational discount you will have the following issues:

  • MN has yet to release the DMG version of MN4. You’ll have to wait for that.

  • The App Store version has no installation limitations. The edu discount DMG version only allows two computers and you have to de-register it if you ever need to format your computer.

  • The DMG activation process is clunky and barely usable.

Save yourself many headaches and just buy it through the App Store.
