Bug Report - Text Box for New Note Cards Vanishes in a Split Second Before Typing Anything

Hi MarginNote Team,
I’m writing to report a recurring bug I’m experiencing in the MindMap view which can be quite disruptive to my study workflow.

Problem Description
When I’m working in a mind map and try to create a new child note by dragging from an existing card, the text input box for the new note appears on screen for a split second and then immediately vanishes. This happens before I have any opportunity to type, effectively preventing me from adding new content to my mind map.

Expected vs. Actual Behavior

  • Expected: When a new note is created, its text box should remain visible and active, allowing me to type in my notes.
  • Actual: The text box disappears almost instantly, making text entry impossible.

Temporary Solution
I have found a temporary workaround. To fix the problem, I have to completely exit the notebook (returning to the main document screen) and then re-open it. After re-entering the notebook, the note creation function works as expected for a period of time before the bug may reoccur.

I have attached a screen recording that clearly demonstrates the bug in action, as well as the workaround I described. I hope this helps you diagnose the issue.

Hello, after our investigation, we believe there are some issues with the mind map gestures in this version. Currently, the relevant functions in my version have been iterated, so we cannot reproduce this bug. I would like to know how you use the drag function to generate cards—have you set up mind map gestures? Your answer will help us solve the problem better，thank u :heart:
