It’s not the first time happening to me and it is very frustating. For as much I can remember it happens only if you activate the option Title link after you have already used links in your mindmap. I don’t personally like the option show links in card so I always turn it off. The problem is that if you already connected notes with links and only after you try to activate title links, it works yes, but it also enable show links in card. The problem is that whatever you do it’ll be always enabled. I tried everything, switched it on and off both options, closed my app, turned off my iPad, duplicated the study set and nothing works.
The only solution here seems to start over with a brand new studyset which is not ideal.

We haven’t been able to reproduce this issue on our end. Could you record a screen video showing the exact behavior you’re experiencing? Also, please let us know your device model, operating system version, and MarginNote version.
Thanks for your reply. It is the latest version of MN4 and I use an iPad Air 5 gen with the latest IPadOS version 26.5.2. I have to clarify tho that this bug has occurred on the previous IPadOs versions and still persist.
Unfortunately I have tried many times to recreate the bug in other studysets but I haven’t succeed so you can’t know what made it happen.
It has happened to me at least 2 times when I had already created a bunch of cards and a clear mindmap. If there is a temporary solution that allows me to copy not only the cards but also links to another mindmap please let me know.
The strange fact is that the bug occurs only in one layer of the studyset as you can notice on the video. It seems like sometimes a layer can get “cursed” forever for some reason after you activate for the first time “title link” on that layer. Other layers don’t suffer from this. It only matters on what layer you were on when you used for the first time “title link”. I will repeat myself the cause of this bug was the activation of “title links” after a while(hours).
I zoomed to let see better that “title link” works just fine but not “show links in cards”.
I’m sorry even with many tries I haven’t been able to reproduce the bug from the start, it happens rarely but it completely ruins a mindmap as you could see from my old photo. I hope you can solve this problem! Thanks for this beautiful app
