But WHY No Bookmarks in ePub?

Does anyone know WHY MarginNote Pro and MarginNote 3 don’t support bookmarks in ePub? So many other apps are able to do this simple feature, and ePub is open source. Also, why isn’t there a “go to furthest page read” button?

Hi sjd,

For limited development effort, our focus is around PDF suppprt at present. I suggest you to convert Epub to PDF to study , using tools which could retain Bookmarks information.

Thank you. I understand if your focus is on PDF. I found a workaround, which is just to create a highlight note with a #Bookmark or #ReadOn tag. That works just as well as a bookmark, really. I really think if you could do something with that. Perhaps a button to automate that process, but I think my way works fine just as it is.
