Difference between App Store & website version?

Is there any difference between the version of MarginNote you get from the Mac App Store and the one you download from the website?

Also - how do you purchase the download version from the website?

Hello

Hello, the web version can only be used by two devices at the same time

Thank you.

And is that the only difference? There are no other differences in the app’s functionality between the two versions?

Hello

Hello, of course they are the same

Thank you. There is actually no “of course” about this - many apps that are sold separately with one version available in the Mac App Store and another “download” version from a website have functional differences, because of restrictions that Apple often impose on certain functional aspects. Often in such cases the ‘website download’ version has extra functionality that the Mac App Store version is not allowed to have.

But I take it that in the case of MarginNote the two versions are nevertheless the same.

Thank you!
