Educational discounts only apply to the dmg version. The educational discount application is for the standard version of the dmg version software, whose functionality is equivalent to the pro version on the App Store, but this supports use on Mac. If you want to use the max features on a computer, you need to purchase an additional premium activation code (currently 48, 70 after the price returns to normal). If you want to use the max features on the iOS platform, you need to purchase the pro version on the iOS App Store on top of the first two activation codes.

How I see it:
Standart is 31,12 Euro (35$)
Max is 59,99 Euro
Pro is 14,99 Euro
So interesingly enough, if one would buy the Standard Version and the Pro, youd have the same features just cheaper if youd buy everything at once (max). Or is there a difference from Standard + Pro to Max?

Functionally, standard=pro, standard+premium=max. However, the applicable platforms are different. If you have only one Apple ID and do not frequently switch the Apple ID logged into the App Store, and need to use it on all major platforms, it is recommended to directly purchase the max version from the App Store
