The current customization tools feel limited, and the Rich Text Editor lacks the flexibility needed for professional workflows. I would like to propose the following improvements to enhance the design and usability of the app.
- Rich Text Editor Enhancements
• Native Header Support: Add UI buttons for multiple header levels (H1, H2, H3) so users don’t have to rely on Markdown.
• Advanced Color Formatting: * Full color picker for text and underlining.
• Ability to apply specific colors to “Emphasis” (bold/italic) styles.
• Predefined Styles: Create and save global presets for text and headers for a consistent look.
• Expanded Typography: Increase the font selection (the current limit of 5 fonts is too restrictive, this is in the settings panel)
- Bulletpoints and numbered lists
- Mind Map & Canvas UI
• Connector Flexibility: * Add a slider to modify the thickness/width of connection lines.
• Option for curved lines for child nodes to create a more organic flow.
• Card Resizing Fix: The current resizing tool is unstable and often breaks the card layout. I suggest a more “snappy” or robust resizing mechanic that preserves content integrity.
- General Customization
• The Rich Text system needs a refresh to feel more modern.
• More granular control over the visual elements of the cards and maps is needed to improve information hierarchy.
When I copy content from Google Docs, the app allows me to use custom colors, so the functionality clearly already exists within the syste
