Feature Request - Insert Displayed Style Math Formulas in Note Cards with Built-in Markdown


As is shown in the picture, on the blue card, the inline math formula can be inserted as expected by typing LaTeX codes between the single $.
But on the red card, the LaTeX codes between the double $$ can’t be compiled into displayed math formula, though using double $$ is the standard way to write displayed formula with Markdown.

I found the way to type displayed style formulas in note cards.


In the blue note card above, the “$$(formula)$$” is not typed in a separate line, and it won’t be compiled. (But a usual Markdown editor can compile it in this case).
In comparison, the “$$(formula)$$” can be compiled as displayed math formula if it is typed in a separate line, as shown in the red note card below.
