Hi,

Is there any kind of Find / Replace tool in MarginNote?

Also, is there any way to change smart quotes to straight quotes in MaginNote?

If so, please advise.

I’ve found that excerpts from some PDFs result in text with double spaces between words. I can fix these manually, of course, but if MN could detect these automatically and fix, or if there was a search and replace where I could replace “ “ with “ “ that would be superb.

I’m truly impressed with MN and am using it (almost all day) every day during my studies. Thank you to the developer/s.

Hi，

@stuartro The new ocr pro may suit your needs. Auto correct online and change the offline ocr settings into ‘Always’ will reload the book image to correct spaces.

About Find/Replace, since MN is not an typewriter, this function will need 3rd-party scripting when MN open Data API in 4.0. Sorry for your bad experience. I don’t know whether your case could be pre-avoided by OCR correct.
