I did some deeper research and tried installing Obsidian-Bridge and Companion manually from GitHub (since there’s no other option). After four years, it seems nothing is working anymore. From what I understand, development was coordinated with the support team and the product manager (it’s even pinned in the topics section), so I’m honestly surprised that such an important feature has ended up in this state.
For anyone who might come across this post in the future and face similar issues, here’s some of the information I found:
At the moment, the only possible workaround seems to be downgrading to a previous version to get Obsidian-Bridge working again (which can be tricky on Apple devices), or exporting via PDF, though that makes most of the data harder to edit.
@Adeline, is there any way to use the plugin on MN4? I’m really concerned about losing all my work and would love to find a solution as soon as possible. Perhaps you know of another universal backup method that isn’t based on Markdown or Obsidian-Bridge?
