Highlighter in margin note 2

I am using margin note 2 in macbook and am highlighting text from pdf.

  1. First I am selecting the text to be highlighted then I am choosing colour to highlight.This i have to do with each sentence i want to highlight. This takes away the fun part of learning and makes it just clerical.

  2. I want to know how I can change settings in such a way that when is select the text using my cursor the text should automatically get highlighted. It really helps me focus more on the subject and reduce the number of clicks to highlight.
