Is it possible to highligt a word or a sentence without a link on the side page ?

Hello, Titi46. When reading epubs or pdfs with marginnote, if you go directly into the learning mode, i.e., build a notebook that binds the book, the excerpts done in this learning mode are linked to specific pages of the book, which is a feature of the URL scheme.

We will not remove this feature.

But if you don’t want all the excerpts saved to your notebook, you can read them first in document mode (note that this is the mode without the mind map) and then import the excerpts you want for subsequent organization and processing into learning mode.

I am new here — but in the document panel - there are icons on top (pen etc) to mark the document with making notes??
