How reduce storage of MN4 app on ipad

MN4 app is using a ton of storage on my iPad, and weirdly when I just deleted a bunch of the MN study sets, the storage in Settings for MN actually went up?? What are my options to reduce storage size for the app? For example: can I delete documents without losing the associated excerpts in mindmaps? (One thought I had was to delete a bunch of docs, if I can keep the mindmap without it getting scrambled.) And: if I want to export some study sets and store them somewhere else so I can delete them off of MN: a) what’s the best way to reduce size? I find exporting as pdf makes for a monstrously huge file, when I just do a basic pdf export. Are there other options that make the export manageable? Thanks

Hello

Documents and notes are completely decoupled. Notes are just layers floating on top of the document (similar to layers in Photoshop), so you can directly back up the source PDF in the file app (it must be the original PDF without any changes). The increase in space usage after deletion is because there are deleted learning sets in the version library, which you can delete.

  1. I found the Version Library and see it’s divided into Study Sets and Card Decks. I see my deleted files in Study Set, but I am not clear on what all the Card Decks files are — how are they different than a study set? They look like document names I have in those study sets, but only a fraction of what I’ve uploaded so I’m confused by why these few items have been labelled card decks when not all uploads have. (I’m trying to figure out if they exist separately or as part of the study sets I want to keep, so I know what I shouldn’t delete).

  2. I deleted a bunch of study sets from the Version Library, but the MN storage used in my iPad hadn’t changed. Is there something else I have to do?

你删除之后内存并不会立刻变化,苹果对于删除的东西会保留在其他一定时间,你可以重启下设备看下是否有变化

Please give us an option to delete version library history at once because it’s taking up too much space . Also give us an option to turn off version libarary history
