How to embed tags in PDF

Hi,
I’m looking to bring documents over from another application (TagNotate) which allows PDFs to be tagged. Does MarginNote recognise PDF-embedded tags at all? Is there something I could add to the PDF structure which would make MarginNote recognise and create tags associated with PDF annotations?
