How to get OPML, CSV or Tab-delim exports?

In the past, I’ve been able to transform MarginNote’s iThoughtsX exports into an OPML format, but that no longer works with MN3.

While MN3 has improved its DEVONthink (RTF/RTFD) exports, it still creates various glitchy error.

Have other users figure out a way to transform any MN3 exports into OPML, CSV or Tab-delim exports? Does @marginnote or @Support-Team have any suggestions on how to do this? I’m desperately seeking a solution.

Thanks!

Any ideas / suggestions on this?

I’m desperate.

Hi @jprint, just checked this forum again today. Still no OPML export?

I was just thinking that it shouldn’t be very hard. The “mmap” export format is already a kind of XML… I think.

I’m afraid I don’t know. I’d suggest you ask the other folks in MN support…

The .mmap files appear to be a compressed form of XML. Thus, they probably cannot be read by an OPML parser, which expects text XML.

Thank you. I’ve tried just now to build a quick xml parser in python for .mmap files but failed. Just any option to export outline of annotations from MN3 to a non-proprietary format that preserves the structure would be great.

We have asked repeatedly. It doesn’t seem to be any sort of priority for MN.
