iOS Files Google Drive access is broken

Something is wrong with the Files/Google Drive integration on iOS in MarginNote 4.

I have no problems with the Google Drive app itself, the Google Drive integration when used within the Files app, or with the Files/Google Drive picker within other apps (PDF Expert; Goodnotes, etc). But in MN4 I can only navigate to documents in Google Drive - when I select one and try to import it I just get an endlessly spinning loading icon. This happens on all 3 of my iPads, which are all running the latest OS. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Google Drive app, and turning Google Drive off and on in Files. I have not dared to delete and reinstall MarginNote 4, as I fear losing the documents and studysets that I have in there.

90% of my work/teaching documents live in Google Drive so this dysfunction is a critical productivity barrier for me,

I faced the same issue, so I understand what you mean. I think this might be a bug for now, and I hope it will be fixed soon.
