Hello!
Even if the iPad and Mac are 2 different devices but I already have a Mac Mini M1 (with 16gb of RAM), I wanted to get an iPad Air M3 (with 8gb of RAM) to use it for studying and I would be using it mostly for Marginnote 4.
But my question is:
Does MN4 perform better on MacOs or with iPadOs? Considering that:
1- I would need multiple screens (2 Monitors) and the iPad, with Stage Manager, supports only one external monitor.
2- to draw sketches or handwrite some notes I would use a drawing tablet with the MacOs (but I actually don’t know if it is possible to use it with MN. Would you confirm?). I use mostly the keyboard for typing and I handwrite occasionally (when I have to write a series of maths equations for ex. Then it is faster and more convenient to handwrite than do it with LaTeX syntax).
But also I have doubts related to M1 vs M3 chip, like I expect M3 to be much more faster.
My concern is related to handling very large Mindmaps with child mindmaps (created based on 3-4 pdf files opened side by side on Marginnote at the same time).
Any suggestions please?? Can my Mac Mini M1 handle all of that easier or I should consider getting the iPad Air M3 (or even the Mac Mini M4 with 24gb of RAM)?
THANKS!
