macOS Tahoe Sync Bug

I have a Pro Account and have the app installed on my iPads, iPhones and old MacBook Pro running Monterey, which syncs my study sets normally. I got a new MacBook M4 running Tahoe and I get error messages when I open the app, when I try to sync, when I try downloading my study sets from iCloud. I have done everything - uninstall, reinstall, sync again on iPads and then reinstall, including after iOS 26.2 and iOS MarginNote uptake today. Since it works on my old Macbook with and old MacOS, I assume it is a Tahoe issue. Anyone to help? Is there something to do or do I have to wait for a MacOS update?
