Marginnote 3 features missing from 4?

Hi, I recently updated to Marginnote 4 (MN4), but few crucial things are missing that I alwaysed used in my workflow earlier with MN3.

  1. how do you export your notes in MN4? In MN3, I used multiple colors to highlight various parts of the books, but now I can only find the “export document as Flattened PDF” option. Without being able to export highlighted text parts as a file, the software is not worth it for me.
  2. how can I read in fullscreen? The toolbar can’t be hidden anymore in MN4? In MN4, tapping the screen made the toolbar above the text disappear.
  3. In MN4, clicking the text creates a blue rectangle frame around the paragraph. This wasn’t the case in MN3. I can live with it but I’d rather turn it off, since I have no use for it.

Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, but it appears that MarginNote 4 is entirely dead. See Is MarginNote a DEAD app? Are developers still here? - #39 by stuartro . You’re asking about “missing features” and the developers don’t even care to respond to a critical bug that renders MN4 completely useless.

oh what a pity, just did the paid upgrade. Thanks for your response, though. I’ll keep using MN3, then.
