I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with an Intel chip. After the most recent update, MarginNote just keeps crashing every single time I open a pdf file. Anyone got the same problem?

Please disable the Excerpt Assistance feature and avoid using the AI Book Digitization and AI Table of Contents functions.
This is because the Apple system update to version 26.3 causes older devices to crash when performing on-device recognition. This issue will be resolved in the next version.

Yep, I disabled the Excerpt Assistance Feature, now it works, though I am not sure how to avoid using the AI Book Digitization and Table of Contents.
