MarginNote 4 upgrade Failed - MarginNote 3 Student Discount Users

Hi. I am using MarginNote 3 in my MacOS, which I installed outside of the Mac App Store with a student discount. Are users who received a student discount for MarginNote 3 not eligible for the discount upgrade to MarginNote 4?

They are still working on the DMG (direct purchase) version, many are waiting for it, even on the Chinese forums. They have not committed to a date yet but my best guess is within a month or so.
