MN4 Mac to iPad sync issue

Hi,

I have an issue with studyset syncing from Mac to iPad. This is what I did:

  1. I created new study set named “new set” on Mac MN4, and they were successfully uploaded to iCloud. I can see those on Mac MN4 Cloud sync - StudySet and the top badge shows Database synced. I further verify the data vault is labeled 0 and is the only one.
  2. I went to MN4 iPad and Cloud sync tab. I can see under StudySet the newly created “new set” with a download icon. I clicked on the download and there would be a downloading pop-up.

The issue was, it never download. The top info box shows that it was “fetching data from iCloud…” and “Downloading Sample studyset”, “Downloading Review card deck” loop (all of those were the initial instruction sample, and was deleted on both iPad and Mac MN4).

I tried to clean the buffer by settings, iCloud- reset sync buffer. However, it seems my iPad MN4 stuck permanently in the sample studyset syncing step and no other items could be synced. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I also tried to delete app and redownload it for a clean start, however, this approach manages to get some studyset downloaded (not all) before it starts with the neverending loop of “fetching data from icloud”-> “downloading Sample study set…” → downloading review card decks: sample review group…"
I only have a 6 studysets and the total data was 60MB, it definitely bugged somewhere otherwise it shouldn’t take hours to download all of the database

Ok. I have some additional interesting results… I tried to buffer → clear buffer to free storage, and each time afterwards I get a few seconds window to manually download documents. Afterwards it will still stuck within endless loops. All the handwriting notes were not synced… And it suggests that there had been >40k notes downloaded and asked me to be patient… I don’t understand because this number goes to ~200k after an hour so I guess it must be downloading the Sample study set and stuff again and again. Any suggestions on what to do now?

I have the exact same problem and don´t know what to do about it
