Naming glitch when importing docs into MN

I’ve been importing new documents into MarginNote 3, and have noticed that it now tacks on a number into parentheses.

Is there any way to turn that off / fix it so that MN3 doesn’t do that?

It’s not a massive problem, but it does force me to correct the file naming schema for all of my imported docs.
