Organising files automatically

I would love to see some automation features to file my documents, that I import to MarginNote.
Hazel from noodlesoft could be an inspiration for that.

We don’t need that kind of stuff at this moment. Here’s why:

  1. You can probably use Hazel to do this.
  2. What we need is a new storage system that doesn’t cause sync issues and does not duplicate the files (which doubles the total size).
  3. Because of point 2 and also the inherent inefficiency of MN3, you’re encouraged to import only what’s needed.
  4. Additionally and more importantly, importing too many unnecessary stuff will make your workflow and hence learning inefficient.

Hello

We are seeking for ways to revamp our storage system. Not sure when it will be shipped or if it will be shipped in MarginNote 3 (as the data structure might be changed fundamentally from ground up). Rest assured that the syncing and storage problems will be improved from ground up in the future.
