Using MarginNote with Apple Books

Is it possible to bring in an Apple Book into MarginNote? I figure I might be able to split screen with Apple Books on one side and MarginNote on the other but to me that seems to defeat the purpose of MarginNote for taking notes.

Am I missing something?
Do you use MarginNote with Apple Books? If so how do you use it?

I curious about this too.

On the Mac desktop, I simply pull the book from Apple Books on to the desktop then import it into MarginNote. Of course, this means the version of the book in MarginNote does not link up with the version of the book in Apple Books, but I don’t think there’s a way around it. :frowning:

I hadn’t thought about trying that. I didn’t know I could drag it out of AppleBooks. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, you can do that on the desktop version. But again, that is simply another copy of the book rather than the same book used by Apple Books.
