Which Version is better? 3 or 4

Hello everyone, I would like to buy Marginnote, but I don’t know exactly which version, 3 or 4 :pensive: Which version is better?

It seems that using version 4 would be better for you, as it not only receives new updates but also includes more features. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to mention them without hesitation.

Thank you for the answer, I think Margin Note 3 looks better somehow :see_no_evil: and that’s why I’m still thinking about it, but I’m currently watching a course on Margin Note 4 and I’m definitely noticing that there are some improvements with merge and become child for example. The different types of Mind Maos are also a big advantage. Is there actually a way to collaborate like with the Collaborate function in Margin Note 3?

Wow… This is a feature I don’t use much, and the sentence is a bit hard to understand. Could you explain the feature you’re asking about in more detail? I have a few friends who might be able to solve this. If you provide more details, I’ll ask them.

Unfortunately I don’t know how it works, but theoretically I can imagine that you could share it with someone who also has Margin Note and work together on mind maps, for example. I’m attaching a photo of Marginnote 3 and the collaboration feature.

I’ve forwarded the issue to the people who can solve it. It might take until tomorrow to get a response.

I shared your issue with a large group of MarginNote users, but unfortunately, I didn’t get any feedback. As far as I can tell, no one actively uses this feature. Unfortunately, I’m not part of the support team. If they see it, they might respond, but in my case, it took a week to get a reply. So, if you can come up with a solution on your own, that would be the best approach.

Thank you so much for asking several people. It’s a shame that no one can help, but I suspect it may have been removed in Margin Note 4. Maybe it’s best to buy both versions then :joy: But I’ve already decided that I’m going to buy Margin Note 4 and if I still need the other function, maybe Margin Note 3 too.

Good choice! If you need more guidance, feel free to stop by here. I don’t use every feature of the app, but I can explain the ones I use. By the way, where are you from? I’m curious to know where international users are from.

I think it’s great that these international groups exist. I’m from Germany. And you?

I’m from Turkey, man. A lot of Turks live in Germany. How do you get along with them? Most of those who went there were probably from rural areas looking for work, so they might be a bit rough around the edges. At least, that’s what I guess. :joy::rofl: I know a few Turks who came from Germany. They were really cool people. They told me about the situation of those who went there and all.

So far I’ve gotten along well with the Turks I’ve met. There haven’t been that many so far, but I have the impression that they are nice people. The friend I want to use Margin Note to collaborate with is also Turkish  If that’s not a coincidence :joy:

My friend… we all move forward on the path set by our destiny. I hope you always encounter good people. Let me give you a small tip: if you’re a student and want to upgrade the app, send an email from your student email account to MarginNote’s official email for a discount.
